Lettuce Grow is a Los Angeles based company on a mission to grow healthy sustainable food in every home. They approached Guacamole Airplane to take a fresh look at the packaging for their signature product, the Farmstand.

HAMMERHEAD

Hammerhead approached Guacamole Airplane to reimagine the structural packaging for their newest product, the Karoo 2, a handlebar-mounted smart GPS unit. Specifically Hammerhead was looking to avoid non-recyclable EVA foams, and create a high-touch unboxing experience.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET

Whole Foods approached Guacamole Airplane to help research and lay the groundwork for more sustainable packaging for their private label brands. We spent five months researching and composing a set of actionable packaging design strategies.

SWAY SEAWEED PACKAGING

Sway is a biomaterials company based in the San Francisco Bay Area focused on bringing seaweed based alternatives to plastic into production. Sway tapped Guacamole Airplane for assistance designing and prototyping early proofs of concept with some of their first rolls of seaweed film.

EVERYTHING SET

Everything Set makes a cybersecurity monitoring device to detect unwanted traffic on home networks. They approached Guacamole Airplane to develop a custom ecommerce packaging system.

PLASTIC RECYCLING MACHINES

We built a series of DIY plastic recycling machines as a way to exploring new avenues of creating value out of the plastic waste stream.

Mollusk is a family run surf shop with ties to the music, art, and design worlds. We reworked their e-commerce packaging to step away from tyvec mailers.

Allbirds

Allbirds is known for their commitment to sustainability and comfortable shoes. They approached Guacamole Airplane to help reimagine packaging concepts for their shoelaces made from 100% recycled PET. 

Clean ocean Designs

Clean Ocean Designs manufactures low impact products for ocean and outdoor sports. They approached Guacamole Airplane to develop a packaging suite and do some light branding work around the launch of their flagship product, the Mariner Mat, a changing mat for after surfing made from compression molded algae foam.
