What we like about Boox: Reuse & return box system designed to eliminate waste in ecommerce applications. The box is designed to fold flat in it's return shipment to the brand or supplier, minimizing carbon footprint in shipping.

Corrugated plastic boxes have a similar construction to corrugated cardboard, but feel much stiffer and with a certain tactile sharpness to the edges.

As with any reusable option, life cycle analysis is required to ensure reusable option ends up having a footprint than the single use option after the average estimated number of uses.

The Boox is designed to be reused rather than recycled after one use.
Once the package can no longer be used (ideally after 20+ uses) it will likely be landfilled, as corrugated polypropylene is not widely recycled.
