Ink

While only a small portion of the package by weight, inks have a big effect on how a package is perceived.
Typically, ink is made up of approximately 35% resins and modifiers, 15% pigment, and 50% water or solvent.
Siegwerk’s compostable inks avoid the use of heavy metals in pigments.
Ink will not effect the recyclability of a package.
Siegwerk’s compostable inks are a good option for compostable packaging.
