Traceless Materials

Traceless

🏭 Germany

What we like about Traceless: Their patent pending material is made completely from natural polymers instead of creating synthetic ones. Their material can be converted to take many forms like flexible film, rigid applications, coatings, and adhesives.

Agricultural Waste Bags and Films

Designed for plastic converting technologies

  • The Traceless material granulate can be used to make a wide variety of packaging, from sachets and bags to cups and coatings.

  • Traceless prides itself on being just that — traceless. Rather than mimicking natural biopolymers, they extract them from agricultural waste. Their material is completely plastic-free and have no reliance on fossil fuels.

It’s easily home compostable and degradable and breaks down faster than PHA and PLA.

  • Traceless materials are home compostable. They say that depending on the conditions, composting can take 2-9 weeks.

  • This material can look and feel like traditional plastic. Proper disposal information should be an important part of the design so that they don't end up in the wrong waste stream.

It's good to let customers know that if they can't compost it, that Traceless’s film should be reused or thrown in with the trash. Tossing bioplastic in with recycling just adds an extra step on the way to landfill.
