When you choose these papers, you choose to rely less on virgin fibers from new trees, and you help to make use of waste. In fact, James Cropper has created a dedicated waste stream for recycled cups.
Paper is lightweight in shipping and can be engineered for structural stability with flat pack shipping.
James Cropper offers paper with an FSC certification to meet standards for stricter restrictions on clear cuts and pesticide use.
The best afterlife for most paper products — from collateral to boxes — is recycling. Most paper fibers can be recycled more than five times. Paper with tape or stickers can still be recycled, because non-paper materials are sifted out in the recycling process.
Consider getting a print test when printing light inks on darker papers to ensure legibility.
