Bamboo bioplastic jars

Clean Filter Packaging jars and bottles look and feel like traditional plastic. The stock material is an off-white or black color, but custom colors are available at high MOQs.

This bioplastic is derived from renewable materials instead of fossil fuels. It is made of upcycled bamboo combined with compostable PHA bio-resin.

These bottles and jars are compostable in an industrial facility. Otherwise, these should be disposed of with regular trash. They are not recyclable.

Bioplastics look and feel like traditional plastic, so proper disposal information should be an important part of the design, so that they don't end up in the wrong waste stream. Let customers know they should compost the plastic. Let customers know that if they can't compost, that it's best if the plastic is reused or thrown in with the trash. Tossing bioplastic in with recycling just adds an extra step on the way to landfill.
You could consider a takeback program. If you can work with an industrial composter that accepts bioplastic, you can bulk compost your packaging on behalf of customers.
