Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis papers range in texture, rigidity, and shine. Some have properties like anti-fingerprint, anti-scratch, stretchable, water-resistant, and translucent.

Metamorphosis paper is made from trees, a renewable resource. Trees sequester carbon, which is ultimately released back into the air when the paper biodegrades or is composted or incinerated.
Many of the Metamorphosis papers are FSC certified, which means they meet strict standards on forest clear cutting and pesticide use. All Fedrigoni paper is recyclable and made with recyclable coatings. Common coating ingredients for paper include kaolin and calcium carbonate.

The best afterlife for most paper products — from collateral to boxes — is recycling. Most paper fibers can be recycled more than five times. Curbside recycling is common in the US. Some papers in this collection are recyclable, while others are not.

The performance inherent in the metamorphosis line is designed to facilitate the transition from plastic to paper. Thus these paper are likely too “high performance” for average paper needs, but a great option when strong moisture or grease proof barrier properties are needed with speciality papers.
